Type III TYPE III is an alternative rock band from sourthern Illinois. After ceasing the existence of the Toneguards, Sylvia and Joey created a new project called Get a Grip. When asked in the Delicate Records Discord server, Joey said that the music of Get a Grip would "go harder" than that of the Toneguards. However, after a couple of practices, they both could agree on one thing: they needed a drummer. Moose was in their high school's band, and Sylvia went out of her way to get him in the band, to which he agreed. After releasing Show Me How (2024) on YouTube and an EP of demo tracks called Frogs and Fishes (2024), they released their first full-length Analogue Annihilation (2024) on Delicate Records.
